Suzan Johnston Australia has been a trusted name in education for more than 67 years. What began as a small School of Deportment in Camberwell has grown into a nationally respected training organisation specialising in Early Childhood (Childcare), Education Support and Travel.
Founded by Suzan Johnston, a pioneer dedicated to helping women build confidence and independence, the organisation soon evolved from personal development programs into career-focused, nationally recognised training. Her commitment to empowerment and professionalism continues to guide our values today.
Under the leadership of Donna Leigh since 1991, the college expanded into one of Australia’s early Registered Training Organisations and later evolved into a fully online, self-paced learning model. Today, Suzan Johnston Australia supports students across Australia through flexible online delivery, with government-funded training currently available in South Australia (subject to eligibility). Our online model removes geographic barriers, provides highly personalised trainer support, and produces job-ready graduates who are valued by employers.
As we approach our 70th anniversary, we remain deeply connected to the founding vision that started it all.
